Currently pondering converting to tubeless and looking at sealant types.

    Any ones to avoid?

    Anybody tried the Uberbike stuff?

    It looks cheaper option?

marginally cheaper than stans, but not by much.
get the weldtite repair kit for bigger holes, whichever sealant you end up with.

I looked around and just decided to bite the bullet and buy Stans from my local Evans cycles. I looked online etc and decided I couldn’t be bothered to try something there wasn’t much feedback on / that only had a marginal saving.

I figure I’ll change tyres only when I go from summer to winter and when they wear out. So other than an occasional top up if the fluid dries out I won’t go through much of the stuff anyway (hopefully).

I’ve found Stan’s not sealing anything over about 1mm.
Just switched to Orange as some reviews have said it seals larger holes better.

I’ve always used Slime (NOT the one for inner tubes).

I’ve just bought my first ever Stans as that’s what Evans had in.

I’ve always found the Slime one good. In light of comment from APF above I’ll be interested to see how Stans matches up.
