  • Trying to identify a bird song – any ornithologists in the house?

Keep hearing this mornings and evenings – a loud persistent be-ep be-ep be-ep. Would love to know what it is. In a South Beds housing estate but have heard it up on the Barton Hills.

    Any ideas?

Its not the mating call of the ‘surly faced shitehawk (tm tadeuszkrieger )’ again is it?
Snigger everytime I say that out loud and the tab key on my laptop sticks from the tea I spat on the laptop from the first time i read it on here.

Thanks for the ‘helpful’ comments guys 🙂 Gave me a laugh. Just hope it’s a shitehawk purely for the name…
