I have a basic outboard bearing GXP crank that has a constant creak from the non driveside. The bearings are fine and have no problems. I have tried seating the crank arm on the spline with grease and without grease but nothing seems to help. It just keeps creaking on every pedal stroke! Has anyone found a solution?

    Cheers

You don't mention removing, cleaning and regreasing the BB cup? thats usually my first port of call for removing creaks.

Try a squirt of WD40 after fitting it and tightening everything up. Worked for me, though not sure why as I thought I'd greased every available surface…

spraying gt85 or wd40 as suggested here worked for me (cheers hooter!)
