after a hard autumn & winter on my winter road bike, my cx9’s have stopped springing back, and feel as if theyre really stiff on the pivots as if waters got inside and corroded them! as they dont pivot on the brake boss itself.
anyone else had this happen, and has anyone managed to open them up to re grease them and clean them out?? if so how do u do it?

They’re not like a road caliper, as in being an assembled unit. Water can’t get into them.
    Undo the cable.
Undo the two bolts that hold them onto the frames pivots and pull off. Simple as that.

Time to change the cables, they are a consumable after all
    Clean grime off each arm.
    Lube pivots.
    Reassemble.
