I’m looking for a race ready 29er hardtail and these look like fantastic value, especially the 2018 alu models. There’s also some great deals on 2017 carbon versions. I know there’s a few Procaliber riders on the forums so would like to know how you are getting on with yours. 😀

Saving as I too have been eyeing these up (also the Lapierre Pro Race looks nice).

Any real-world experiences on either would be good…?

I have a 2017 9.8 and have no complaints so far. Quick bike, fun to ride and surprisingly capable for an XC race bike. I’m looking to sell it on if you’re interested. It’s my Winter road and trail bike but has had very little ride time due to prioritising rugby in the Winter and riding my FS in the summer. Done around 800 miles at the most.

Has anybody seen a review of the alloy isocoupler? From my limited mettalurgy education (source: many many MTB magazines) I thought if Aluminium was repeatedly stressed it would fatigue?
