I have an ancient Trek that predates this one by many generations. I think mine is a Fuel ex 6.5 so I got a very slighty nicer fork (mine was second hand)
My expectation is that it will be fine. The thing to realise is that you’re getting quite a posh frame with low rent components. That doesn’t mean it won’t work, it will. It might be a good thing or it might be a bad thing depending on your attitude to up grades. But I can’t help thinking that is quite alot of cash for a steel fork with turnkey damper.
