    i need to send my shock off for a service, is it easy to do?
    do i needs any special tools?

    is there an online guide anywhere showing how its done?

    unless mistaken an allen key and a spanner should be more than enough. undo the allen keys top and bottom and the shock should come out without much effort.

    just an allen key but make sure it's a good un. The shock bolts on the '08 models were made from soft cheese. The 09 model bolts seem a bit beefer.
    When it comes to re fitting the shock, you might find you have to slacken off the main pivot bolts and the bolts holding the rocker to the frame to aid getting the shock back in.

    Piece of cake, took me 5 minutes earlier. Two bolts. Dont forget to lube the pivot bolts up when you put them back in to avoid the snapping noise from the shock!
