I unearthed a very short video tonight of some riding at the Ambulance Drop at Sherwood Pines about 17/18 years ago or something like that. The drop was named as such as immediately after being built, the diggers were testing it and one suffered a broken leg, requiring an air ambulance to come to the rescue. Basically it’s a 6ft drop where on landing there’s a dry strip up the middle. Wobble to the side and the tyre technology of yesteryear meant you were in for trouble in the loamey stuff. We had the camcorder under the lip of the drop.

I won’t give the riders name. He may still be enjoying the sport and even frequenting these forums.
