I have basic french only, I don’t think it’s up to translating a cv

Crispedwheel, can you send me any details?

Not necessarily. That’s why they will often distinguish between speaking, reading, and writing when asking about language on an application form.

I am a relatively fluent French speaker, and can read fluently. But I sure wouldn’t trust my written grammar to get me any kind of job. Writing a language is not simply a matter of putting on paper what’s in your head.
