Got a free upgrade today. Have been able to transfer photos, music etc via USB to my laptop so I can then transfer them onto my new phone. But can't find a way to transfer contacts. Some are on the SIM so that's ok when I put it in the new phone but can't find a way to do all the ones on the phone memory, other than manually via Bluetooth which is just a pain in the @rse. Would also like to have backups on my PC in case I lose the phone.

Any ideas?

What phone have you got? I've got a fairly basic Nokia and it comes with Nokia PC Suite. I need to connect via Bluetooth and PC Suite with sync. with Outlook's contacts and calendar. I don't know if that helps.
