I’m sure the TS did not make any money in its first year despite the £1000 entry fee. The level of organisation and effort required must have been immense and it’s a credit to Ali and the team how effectively they pulled it off, and how professional they made it look… but I guess nobody is going to hand over £1000 for event that looks shonky no matter how amazing it sounds 😉 .

Perhaps that is where Ali went wrong in Mark’s eyes? He made it look too professional in its first year 🙄

I enjoyed the final movie… and would love to ride the event again 2014. There is no other event that has timed descents that are that long… other than Strava
