Hey guy’s, re-greased the bearings on my trance x frame just for piece of mind but…when removing the lower linkage the washers/spacers fell out! The one on the inside (closest to the bearing has a chamfer, i guess you’d call it. What i need to know is, what way does the chamfer face. I re-assembled it with the flat large face of this spacer covering the seal of the bearing with the chamfer facing inwards. This makes sense to me as it would provide extra protection against grit etc getting into the bearing. However i can’t help but think that chamfer is there for a reason and it might need to be the other way round. Can anyone tell me what way this needs to face and will it damage the frame/bearings if the wrong way round?

info’s on here somewhere (and it’s a decent read if you’re mucking about with the linkages)
