Planning on taking my two (3 & 4yrs) to School by bike. Eldest is fine on his Cnoc, but concerned about the distance for the little one on his Rothan.
Has anyone attached a Rothan / Scoot / other type of balance bike to a Trailgator ?

Sounds only like an interesting idea if you think that you have too many family members, although there have to be more humane ways of culling your offspring than this 🙄

Why would it be so bad? is there not any way of sorting a footrest for him?

The angle would be too steep and there would be nothing for the scooter to put their feet on.
The result would be a 2 or 3 year old trying to hang on by the bars alone.

Add speeds of over 5mph into the equation, it could be very dangerous.

If you are going to try it, use a 12" bike with pedals.

Remove the cranks from your own bike.
    Drop your seatpost
Use trailgator to attach your bike to rear bumper of car
Get your missus to tow you around the block a few times
Come back and tell us if you still think it's a good idea.

Walking pace here chaps, for maybe 2km.
Not blasting along a bypass at 20mph+ 😀
Onward journey to work by bike for me.
Have to get his brother on a 14" & use the 12".
    Ta.
