I stuck my 2.2 Trail King on the rim on Wednesday to find that it had gone down overnight so pumped it up and rode it Thursday night, where it kept going down. Took it back off and thoroughly cleaned the bead with wire wool on Saturday to find that it had gone down again Sunday morning.

As soon as it gets above 30psi it leaks air badly from the bead and immediately deflates, I’ve since replaced it with another 2.2 Trail King which went up perfect and seated perfect.

What’s wrong with the first tyre?

The only thing I can see is feathering in the bead where it is leaking.
