I hear that there is a trail centre ‘style’ ride in the Stroud valleys. Described as a bit like an Forestry Commission course but a ‘not’

Sorry to be vague, anyone got any info?

They probably mean Standish and Randwick woods .

Looking at them now from the front window .

Yea, sounds like Standish & Randwick, route negotiated by CyTec LBS IIRC and put in place by land owners. Great rooty trail, if a little short. Add length by taking short road section from Haresfield Beacon car park and back into woods down to Edge. Much of the Stroud valleys gems are hidden from view, you need to nose around. Currently dry & dusty hardpack. Great little pump track popped up in Woodchester beside the cycle path @ Selsey Hill. 😉

    Thanks Guys,

You’ve responded to my posts about the area before, I’ve just started work at Ecotricity.

Do you guys (I assume guys) go on a club ride at all. Would be great to muscle in on some local action…
