    What is this?

    Posted 1 year ago #
  12. redthunder - Member

    @tails

    A tractor for sure

    I'd say a John Deere of some kind. Yellowish wheels and green under the fender.

    Good call on the green. Wonder how that remained rust free?

    Can I join in? I win the top trumps...

    I have a colleague and local population who 'do' tractors big style.

    He is 18, commutes by tractor every day to work, has 7 old skool working tractors, 2x dumpers and numerous other mechanical projects. Here is the parade of 30+ tractors that did a 40 mile loop around the Highlands, for fun and charidee.

    haha! thats quite a collection. The old ones are very pretty much like classic cars.

    Cor, someone who's got a 135 with the proper canvas bits for the cab. Apparently kept your feet nice and toasty with warm air off the engine.

    Nice to see this thread back.

    I can't wait to get a grey fergie,and a transfer box, and a wood splitter, so I can steal out to Forestry Commission log piles at the grey of dawn and pilfer wood for my big log stove.

    It's going to be good.

    Can't move around here at the moment with tractors with corn trailers and hay bails/bailers and wish I had my camera for the combine working at 11:00pm the other night with all it's lights on. Would have made a good pic
