    Ok stretching it a bit I admit but the one on the left is an engineer tank:

    That one made me chuckle. I witnessed someone taking exactly the same picture, in the same location, but with the Audi RS6 in the foreground.

    Clumber Park, Worksop, Notts - 24/1/10

    One of those monsters that they had on Top Gear a while back - the photo doesn't really show how deep the trailer has sunk - the wheels are submerged.

    What is this?

    Posted 1 year ago #
  27. redthunder - Member

    @tails

    A tractor for sure

    I'd say a John Deere of some kind. Yellowish wheels and green under the fender.

    Good call on the green. Wonder how that remained rust free?

    Can I join in? I win the top trumps...

    I have a colleague and local population who 'do' tractors big style.

    He is 18, commutes by tractor every day to work, has 7 old skool working tractors, 2x dumpers and numerous other mechanical projects. Here is the parade of 30+ tractors that did a 40 mile loop around the Highlands, for fun and charidee.

    Cor, someone who's got a 135 with the proper canvas bits for the cab. Apparently kept your feet nice and toasty with warm air off the engine.

    Nice to see this thread back.

    I can't wait to get a grey fergie,and a transfer box, and a wood splitter, so I can steal out to Forestry Commission log piles at the grey of dawn and pilfer wood for my big log stove.

    It's going to be good.
