  • Towbar mounted Thule bike carrier. Electric plug anomaly

    Righty,

My fault for relying on others to transport.

Mazda cx5 obtained a year ago with detachable towbar with single electrics as only used for Thule bike carrier.

Today was first time used. Unfortunately the electric on the car has ~13 holes all quite small but the one on the Thule has larger and less.

So…is it just a case if getting the Thule connector changed to match the one on the car?

    Thanks!

Some thule racks have the 13 pin plug with a 7 pin adaptor attached. Yours might or you need to get hold of one.

13 pin is so you can run the fridge and lights etc for a caravan on one plug. You can get a splitter to make the 13 pin into two 7 pin plugs, you just won’t use the grey one.
