Sorry no still pics, just 8 minutes of big dummy touring. I am fully enjoying touring. I must be getting old, and hungry, and having some spare time to use before i get old and die.
I am surprised how unwound I am at 25 miles in (when i start re-enacting battles).. great therapy.

hey coastkid... that looks like a great tour. I assume there was a lot of sand riding. Sweet bike. Did you pack a fishing rod?

hi charlie about 16 miles sand riding along 35 miles of the west coast of harris,some hike a bike between small bays but great ride for such a short distance the water looks warm eh?,proberly about 3 degrees!! was hot wind during day cold at night but midge free,why i always take my 2 weeks hols in june,less midges and people,harris definitly getting busier though i saw 4 other people on luskintyre beach!! heres a wee film of some highlights

Amazing i started same thread a few days ago and got like 2 replies.....
Ton win's the popularity contest Do most people modify MTB's or go hybrid drop route?
Picked up a cheap Hybrid via work for Mrs Phil,shes already got a Road bike which you can fit racks to.
Just not sure what to build for myself...drop bar,hybrid type or mtb ish thing...How's the Pugsley ride Coast kid?
