10k to go I thought he was going to get caught just before the line, but just goes to show what an effort the others were putting in to catch him as their legs just gave out. Bit of luck for him that Sagan crashed as he was deffo the driving force in the chase

They were letting Sagan do most of the work; I really couldn’t see them working with him to bring Gilbert back … the gap would have prob been bigger at the end if Sagan hadn’t crashed.
It’s gotta be go frustrating for Sagan.
