Good effort from Sagan but not sure he was ever coming past the breezeblock once he’d pulled out into the wind

Anyone else notice Sagan appearing to wheelspin as he got along side Greipel?

Find out what tyres Etixx use and then don’t buy them!

Spesh, told us they were the best a few days ago

The right hand side there is really bumpy, Cav nearly went flying in that same spot a year or two ago.

Yes lost traction on the paint of the pedestrian crossing

Richie Porte’s just said that it’s no procession once they hit the CdE, struggling to hold wheels for 50km.

Either those podium girls are really tall, or Adam Yeats is short.

Sagan: Pure rock n roll 😆

I don’t know about anyone else but I enjoyed that TdF. Froome’s greatest victory too, IMO.

Little Adam Yates being dwarfed by the podium girls even though they’re on the lower steps.

Thanks Lunge and Mikewsmith for providing these threads. That was a memorable Tour de France – despite a certain inevitability at the top spot, there was plenty to enjoy throughout. Some stand-out players and thrilling performances:

    Tom Dumoulin’s rainswept mountain win
Steve Cummings’ obligatory Cummingsesque solo win
Jarlinson Pantano for being an all-round beast in the mountains
    Sagan and Froome’s break
    Cavendish’s wily resurgence

Honourable mention to Ned and Dave’s debonair commentary.

What an absolute gent Froome is. Even after running up the mountain he had no bitter words for anyone.
    A gracious winner.

Froome’s speech was very good, as mentioned above “a Gentleman”. Really enjoyed the race this year and its going to be a boring for a few days without Miller and Ned as background noise.

Thanks Lunge for your efforts much appreciated. If you ever get to the Dales let me know.
