£50? to ride for a day, on known trails...?
I know it is an event, it is supported and all, and the timing would be fun, but £50!

Concerned that it will taking big numbers over a delicate trail ?
Will that be sustainable ?

More bothered about the price, seems a lot. I am expected to 'volunteer' to assist with a growing number of events and am becoming a bit cynical about how much they charge, especially given how many people volunteer their time and resources to make it happen.
Seems to me that smaller 'grass routes' events would be much more cost effective, and sustainable, and more 'my thing'.Posted 1 year ago # -
Isn't the part from Luibeilt up to Lairig Bothy just a vague track, I.e. not armoured

Doesn't it take in part of the Ciaran Path? Would be an awesome, and hard, day!
