Well after taking council from the STW massive, we went up Thursday, biked Friday in perfect weather, dry and buff trails…

That is the best way to ride torridon imo, most people ride out the road past the loch, but then you’d miss the coire lair descent, an that would just be rude!. Did you visit the ‘tearoom’ at achnashellach?.

You can’t really o wrong, bruneep. Just follow the trail up from the cemetery at annat, til the fork in the trail at the lochan, head left, and your on the trail all the way to achnashellach, then it’s Tarmac to coulags turn off, then all the way up and over to the start.

cheers, did the loop that uses the 2 road sections couple of weeks ago. would be keen to go back and do it without the road section.

Yup, Torridon Inn is ace.

Don’t underestimate the climb up from Annat. IMHO the second half of the descent to Achnashellach is much better than the first half.

We were up on Saturday…..the riding and the weather was awesome 😀
