My Trance X has taken a bit of a hammering over the weekend and the relatively small amount of play in the top shock eye bushing has developed into a very significant amount of slop.

I’m tempted by the roller bearing conversion kits supplied by RWS or BETD. Anyone use one of these? Is either one preferable to the other? Any alternatives?

Is it worth it (as in does it last longer) or should I just get the bush replaced like for like?

    TIA

Get a “strong bush” instead. BETD do them as do TF tuned.

Just stick with the standard ones and change them regularly as they are dirt cheap and very simple to do.

Got a nice tool from Katec on ebay (Kaesae on here) and can do them in them in about 5 minutes.

Bushings cost £2 each IIRC so I have a bag of them.

I went for the strong bush on my Trance X2 and it’s held up a lot better!

Betd are the dogs for long lasting products if that,s what your hoping to hear. Good solid kit.
