Looking at s/h phones on ebay, seen a new one with a BIN for little more than what s/h ones go for. Seller has zero feedback.

    I know the answer I think…

Looking at Z1 Compacts, here’s the ad:

The zero feedback would set alarms bells ringing but the simple fact it is a Sony Xperia would be enough to see me walking away. The screens are very prone to failure and Sony warranty is non existent.

Could be “a few” dodgy ones from this:

Unlikely as it’s not a current model – I know about the Sony screen thing, but I want Ant+ which somewhat limits the choices for phones which aren’t huge – it’s pretty much them or nothing.

The “not being a current model” thing might well point to it being a genuine sale. FWIW, my Z1C has been solid.

Dongle for Apple or Android perhaps?

Hmm, well there’s an answer I wasn’t expecting! There is always ebay buyer protection, but currently in the middle of a return on that and not wanting more hassle – if it wasn’t for that I’d probably be more tempted.
