Your arguments are valid and I would like to apologise for lowering to insults, as you say an 89 year old man is currently being tried for "following orders" Same as my brother is as we speak, the other day we were speaking on the 'phone and he was telling me how he felt like shi't 'cos he and his crew were pinned down in a firefight and he reckons he might have accidentally shot a donkey that wandered across the hill in front of them. He knows the difference between wrong and right. I would never presume to speak for him but I am sure he won't be on trial in 60 years time. The same as the many thousands of German nationals our grandfathers age who were just general guys caught up in something alot bigger than they ever had control of are not.
