I share your feelings. Our eldest is also starting school in a few weeks. Not sure where the last ~5 years went!

My eldest starts his second year of Uni in September….. I am proper old.

I’m going to be a grandad at xmas 🙁
And my youngest finishes uni next year.
And I drive a Smart.

I got ID’d in Waitrose last week 🙂

I did, however, decide I’m too old to go out ‘celebrating’ A-Level results this year 🙁

My eldest got her AS results today, I don’t feel old though.

my nephew got married back in June. WGAF, I’m still more fit and able than loads of people half my age!

I can’t play computer games for s**t anymore 🙁

Eldest starts primary school tomorrow. Makes me feel old.

Its when you go to drop off you little ones for the first time in the playground & all the teachers look so much younger than you!

Then you feel old 😉

Saying that, we have a family grandmother & daughter who both have kids in the same class, think about that for a second 😉

I’m 55 on Monday & will have worked solid for the past 40 years by next February.

What? Since when did kids start school in August? I’m sure I never went back til second week in September.

my eldest son goes to my old secondary school and the parents evenings are with some of my old teachers.
that makes me feel old because i have to pretend to be all grown up when i speak to them 😕

Wallop – it’s Scotland. They start us earlier than in England, that’s why we’re better educated up here. 😉

SBZ – my eldest started High School on Tuesday.

I remember the day she started Primary.

I don’t feel any “older” since then to be honest.

I feel old cos I’ve been out drinking with my 21 year old placement student before she goes back to uni on September. And before you ask, I’m not being a dirty old man she’s like the little sister I never had!

That Frank advert that seems to keep appearing to the right with that pretty girl with dark hair makes me feel old…

Oh well.
