Anyone know anything about TomTom’s?

I bought a secondhand unit from Ebay. I choose this particular seller as he stated that the Product Code Card came with the SatNav.

When the package arrived, the code card was not included.

Anyone got some experience of this? Is not having the code card likely to be a problem in the future? (ie for updates etc?)

The SatNav unit works fine. I’m just wondering if it really is a critical piece of info to have and should I make a big song and dance about it or not.
