New cassette or chainrings = new chain.
New country (recently moved from Hong Kong to Singapore) = new tyres to please the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries when permanently importing a bicycle.
As for the chainstays, you get no chainslap on a singlespeed and very rarely on a road bike. The helicopter tape also tends to help. I can’t remember the last time I suffered from chainsuck. A used bike need not look like a knackered bike you know. I wouldn’t spend this much on bikes and either treat them like s#*t or not ride them!
