    As far as i know its the only bike race or time trial allowed in an underground tunnel,on a closed road in the uk.

    Looks good, but no spectators allowed in the tunnel annoyingly.

    Sounds good – won’t that be quite a fierce second half, like a V-shape? The tunnel drops and climbs quite steeply IIRC (for a tunnel).

    It’ll be both ways wont it? Would make sense, and would be very short to only do in one direction.

    Is there not something similar for wheelchair athletes.. Up Newcastle way poss?
