got the muppets christmas carol on dvd for the kids the other day. hadn't seen it for years
its great - but the ghost of christmas past is weird/ creepy (not sure she is meant top be, just poor old school cgi). I don't understand why they didn't just use a muppet?
coyote - good choice on batman returns, it's a great film and I forgot it was set at xmas
groundhog day I really like - not really an xmas film but snowey and "festive"

each to their own but I hate that kind of animation using "real actors" to record the motion - something creepy about it
for the same reason I will not watch that new version of a Christmas Carol

And a +1 from me for A Nightmare Before Christmas too. Looking forward to my daughters being a bit older (just 6 months this Christmas)and sitting down to watch it with them (yes, I have already thought about it).
