Smacked one of my pedals on a rock last week and now can’t clip in on one side.

Does anyone know if the springs on these are replaceable? Is there a service guide anywhere? I have a vague memory that you need to knock out the remaining pins with a pin hammer on older time pedals but I’ve never actually done it.

Also, any sources for the springs or are they the same as all the other round springs (so I can salvage some from a set of Aliums)

Hi easy to do and I’ve replaced/swapped lots around as they have worn.

    Try here http://forums.mtbr.com/drivetrain-shifters-derailleurs-cranks/time-atac-spring-replacement-help-needed-942412.html

    Cheers.

Hmm. That linked post talks about a threaded inner to the spring pins but the pins on the MX4’s is solid so the method they talk about isn’t going to work.

    Anyone else?
