I need to stick 2 x 8 inch tiles onto the bottom row of my shower. I have some Wickes ready mixed waterproof grout, and I was wondering if this would do to stick the tiles onto the wall (plaster)? I know sometimes you can get a grout that can be used as the adhesive, but this one doesn’t say it can.

I don’t really want to buy a great big tub of adhesive just for this if I can avoid it.. I have some PVA.. Maybe I could mix a bit of that in with it to make it more sticky..

    Cheers!

    Sure grout will do fine
If you want the tiles to fall onto your feet
Just buy a small bag of adhisive and just mix wot u need
Keep your grout for around the tiles

Or and i never said this lol “grip fill them back on and use your grout for around the edge”

I wouldn’t reccomend using the grout as adhesive, doesn’t set like adhesive- you can buy rapid set adhesive in tubes at B n Q or alternative!

(cough cough) as the first post gripfill/ no nails or something similar then grout over the joints 😈 though I would never do this myself of course! 😉
