    Hi
    I have a Mazda 6 2009.
Just been given my mates Thule Wingbar, this comes off a 2011 Insignia.
Thuke site says I need 761 or 761B bar.
For insignia it states 962 bar.
I know I need different feet and attachments but will this bar still fit.
I know it may be a little longer but the feet width seems to be adjustable?

I’ve never used wingbars, but for aerobars, if the bar is too wide, you can’t use them, as there is a limit to how far the feet can slide into the centre of the bar. If you google “thule aerobars underside” and look at the first image, it should become clear!

Just checked on roofbox.co.uk, which is sometimes clearer than Thule’s own site. 😕

It appears you need the 961. I’d imagine the 962s would be too wide, but might work. There must be dimensional drawings somewhere to see how far you can push the mounts into the bars…yore going to have a fair amount of overhang though I reckon.

Maybe advertise on eBay or gumtree for a swap?

    Thanks for the advice.
Brought new feet and the bar fitted fine.
Little bit wide but good for me.
    Cheers
