If you read my spiel, you’ll see it’s laid back and people have been joining each month. No reason why it has to be 1st Jan – 31st Dec.

Some people are using it to improve their photography skills, but I am using it more as a diary.

Yep – I am moving to a place called Dartington, near Totnes in September to do an MSc for a year. Before that I am hoping to be allowed to quit work early end of May (am on 3 month’s notice but handed in my notice last week) to allow me to spend a month in Dumfries at my folks, and then will be in Peru for July and August!

Yep – it is Schumacher College. I posted a thread about it a couple of weeks ago and am looking forward to going out with the Dartmoor riders. I already have my two Ordance Survey maps of Dartmoor and can’t wait to go out there.

my uncle in law has just left there after 10 years as a teaching staff member/librarian. had some lovely meals there with many interesting people. south hams is one of my favorite places. my wife is from totnes also. many a good cake and coffee on the high st! moors and stunning coast, well done!

I have a friend who lives in Newton Abbot and have only been a couple of times, and I’ve not been to the coast so yeah, loads of exploring to do.

One of the directors, Satish Kumar, did a documentary last year on BBC2 about a year on Dartmoor. It looks fab!
