Makes you wonder why some other ‘premium’ brands are so expensive?

Other brands know they can take the p@@s with prices because they are a ‘premium’ brand….never underestimate the snob factor!

Raleigh have a somewhat tarnished reputation so if they’re going after serious MTBers again they’ll have to lower their prices to get noticed….secondly a typical Raleigh rider isn’t the same as someone spending 5k on a Yeti or Santa Cruz, they’ll want to have carbon bars at a price somewhat lower than a typical boutique brand rider is prepared to pay.

Superstar do a similar width carbon bar with a bit more weight and hi-mod carbon, which I have already crash tested personally.

It’s about 5 quid more iirc.
