Saw a Thorn with the v-brake bosses on the back of the fork.

Any suggestions as to why this would be desirable?

It keeps them out of the way of the front rack?

In theory I also thought they were less squeak proof?
Orange and Pace have done it for years.

The theory used to be that if they are on the back they would naturally cam in a bit more due to fork flex, rather than bend away if on the front. I’ve no idea if it makes a noticeable difference though.

I have a ’98 Orange o2 which runs the brake on the back of the front fork, don’t know if there’s any real benefit but it works perfectly.
