What's that about then? Surely comments help with site popularity on google and by limiting comments your also reducing views to the products that have been sent in by the advertisers.
I can kind of see it but it does seem a bit odd to me.

Normal people aren't as good a Premier members. FACT.
Big hitters only
In the words of bob geldoff
GIVE US YOUR F***ING MONEY*
*he may not have said that.
Seems fair to me. What does it cost? £15? Seems cheap to help keep the lights on.
I'd pay £2 a month to have the big hitters banned from posting....
Since the Premier members get a "P", I think the rest should get a "N".

£15/year for digital sub, all the back issues and the magic 'P'= bargaintastic
I think you should have to pay to post here, that'd encourage me to avoid clicking on the ads and creating revenue for the site
So who actually is a big hitter I have not read the thread, is it just someone who uses the forum a lot like TJ, binners, ton etc?
I'm more likely to cancel my subscription (as there's very little worth reading in the mag) than spend an extra £2 a month to be abused by a bunch of middle aged IT professionals with keyboard warrior tendencies....

Well, you have that choice of course. Don't understand why people moan about stuff and continue to buy it.
£15 for a pee??
So who actually is a big hitter
It's anyone who generates over 1 page of posting history per week (>1ppw).
Special dispensation is made for those members on sabatical in areas of limited internet connectivity and there is a minimum membership period of a month before you can be entered into the 'league'.
What would 121 pages since 7/1/2009 get me?
Less than 1. Sorry don, you're a Championship player at best... although some other Awesome!!! posters are in the same category.
Someone has thought up rules for this, not just a term?
