That is a whole lot of guys standing about with their black socks pulled right up. Weird youth fashion.

have always enjoyed the rampage, its so rad watching riders getting down the hill on their own lines.
I am undecided about the man-made ramps etc, seems like a big old advertising board in the desert to me but that's what makes the world go round so bring it on.Posted 1 year ago # -
i'll be taking my hi-ten bmx.

yeah i prefered the natural lines vibe of before too

Its huuuuge. Saw Berrecloth saying it is a smooth course apart from the landings, that made me chuckle.

Saw pictures of that thing in Oakleys HQ last week, immense

Rode it last week on a rigid fixie. These guys are way overbiked and wearing far too much armour.

Love the fact that you get to see pure downhill guys head-to-head with the flippers and whippers.

Been following this the past couple of days - That Icon sender is just lune-ville!
Makes 2 foot drops look like childs play!

They are.. my 8 year old does them.
I reckon I'd struggle just to roll down that rampage hill without getting my wheels off the ground.

Even weirder that you would focus on socks when there are shots like this.

If you like the big booters, then keep an eye on the canyon gap they had in 2008. just over 60ft! Cam McCaul came up ever so slightly short then and folded his Trek Session88 in half! Then Vanderham pulled a big suicide no hander over it. Insane.
Coverage starts at 8pm for us. Can't wait.Posted 1 year ago # -

Does anyone know if the Pinkbike coverage works on PS3 or Wii?

In my opinion: This type of riding is the very definition of "freeride", and is probably my favourite mtb event out there.
I think the wooden features are fine, as long as they don't take over from the natural terrain. You notice that they all utilise natural (i.e. sculpted from the natural rock) features to provide transitions, run-ins etc, and that is the way it should be. The wooden features allow the riders to bring something to the event that otherwise would not be possible, such as the 62ft canyon gap

This is my favourite event, can't wait to watch tonight.
