Does it affect the 456C? A bit curious as I’m looking for a bike for a friend.

Any other suggestions? Carbon is not essential, but we’re looking at a 120mm-140mm fork and it must look pretty (which I guess rules out the 456C, but shhh…)

No, 456C is not affected as it takes normal screw in bb cups.

I have just purchased a 456C and it pedals amazingly well uphill, the frame is 100g lighter than the Ti version, nice amount of flex in the frame too, and you cant half hammer it over anything, it will handle anything you throw at it, big jumps / drops / doubles / tabletops, dont be afraid of it breaking, they passed the new CEN tests with flying colours, i know each frame is hand rolled so each frame will have diffrent strengths but go for it and buy 1, the whippet version is a pressfit BB but as stated already the 456C is a standard screw BB.
