In this months WMB they review a bunch of all mountain/enduro/trail bikes and the accompanying photos look brilliant – one of the captions mentions Langdale but nothing more. Can anyone please tell me what trails they are riding?

Can’t be nan bield – that’s kentmere, not Langdale.

Good point, but it really didn’t look like Nan Bield – it had some tight, twisty steps at the top and it looked much more enclosed with steeper valley sides rather than Nan Bield which is less steppy and is more open at the top.

Do you know it’s Nan Bield, or are you taking an educated guess?

Vaguely remember from picking it up a few days ago and thinking it was somewhere up near Rossett Pike/Bowfell vicinity – no biking up there as far as I know though it could have been Stake Pass nearby….

Rosset Gill has a BW that sounds like it would fit the description.
