damn it, why won't anyone bring it a short travel bike like this? all there is at the moment is Orange ST4 and a load of 4x bikes with ridiculously short seat tubes apart from the Blur which they don't even make anymore.

Horatio – Get an old Trance. Far better looking than the new ones, cheap and fairly sturdy, especially with the right build.
