if I was spending that much money, I wouldn't buy a boat, I'd at least get something that could fly

Speed boats do nothing for me. I'd rather sail. Or fly...

From a real boating point of view:
Where's the sun deck? Where are the handrails? Where's the above deck seating? Visibility looks cack. Glass that tinted kills the internal natural light. The hull is based on a fast powerboat - it would rock horribly when moored up.
Give me something like this over that any day:

or even this:

Every time I do my boat refresher course after whizzing up and down Rutland water for ten minutes i'm bored stupid.

This is rather tasty as well...

On a slightly more modest note, got a quote for a new pontoon cover for our 15ft Salcombe Flyer - rather a lot more than expected. About the same price as wife's bike in fact. Yikes! Will go for it as we are sick of bailing the bu66er out every time it rains heavily.

I want this:

Can afford it, but wife is dead set against letting me go to sea again

Just so we are clear, you think that a PENIS extension is sexy.

The rake on that front windshield will make it absolutely useless in anything but cloudy skies due to the reflection.

psychle, sails are ALWAYS cooler than engines. It's the law.
Penrod, please try and deny that the Falcon is not an effing sexy thing! She's stunning.

if I could afford that I wouldn't care how small my old man was - I could pay to have high-class hookers tell me I am the bestest lover ever.Posted 1 year ago # -
You could buy 3 Maltese Falcon's for £200million - cheap eh?
Posted 1 year ago # -
Mine arrives in 10 weeks time, only been waiting 2 years

Trust me, if you owned that boat, you wouldn't have to pay for sex ever again.

If you owned the Comanche (which I would prefer) you would never have to pay for sex again either.
The Comanche has the added ability of being able to go over land as well as sea, so would be ideal for my occasional commute down to Dorset. People would be well impressed if I turned up in one of those.
I wonder if Thule do a bike rack for it...

It's great fun, really enjoyed it, last year was my first one,
I reckon it'll be an annual event for me nowThere's usually a few teams looking for crews and runners on the 3PYR Forum and SleepMonsters Forum
highly recommendedPosted 1 year ago # -
We had a sailing boat and just got bored - 10 knots flat out and you can't point it where you want to go.
So we flogged it and got a speed boat
Inlaws have a Fisher 46 motorsailor - again 10 knots max. Very luxurious, pretty "flashy" and one of a kind but it just bores me to tears.

Whilst you do have excellent taste with the Comanche people of Dorset might not be as impressed as you might think, I quite often get these flying over my back garden:
