    Good for around towns though as there is zero local pollution.

    There was one I read about a while back where a big gyroscope like wheel was mounted under the chassis of a bus and spun up to a really high speed. The energy from this was enought to drive the bus and every time it stopped at a bus stop the wheel thing was speeded up again. I think Chrysler were going to try something similar with a race car but no-one wanted to risk crashing a car with a big gyroscope in it spinning at 50,000rpm.

    Nothing new about compressed air power. Limited range and speed, uses long tailpipe theory – pointless.

    I think the compressed air is stored int he car, not pumped up the exhaust pipes.
