This is “grandfather’s axe” – it’s had so many changes over the years I’ve owned it that only the wheels and frame are original and they were both second hand.

Briefly it’s a Global TH1.5 titanium frame in good nick with a rigid carbon eXotic fork, original Hope Minis on old-style Hope hubs, the only other noteworthy point is that it has Suntour XC pro thumbshifters. It’s light and very fast and rides very smoothly. With the addition of another road bike coming tomorrow we need room in the garage and I haven’t ridden this in six months.

Break and sell the bits on Ebay or sell complete? Any idea on price?

Usual view is you’ll get less for a whole rather than split, but there isn’t a lot ‘special’ on it, so you may be left with less money but a pile of unwanted bits.

I would think sell as a whole, non of the parts are that special on their own but as a complete bikes its great.

I think you will get a bit more than £100 for it.

I would have thought £300 maybe a tad more to the right buyer.

I would take the cranks for the right price!

And then a very nice email to the Mods so you can change your username. 😉

Beautiful looking bike btw. What’s the frame size?

My £100 is worth £300 of others’ money. I’ll even give you a free autograph.

Or, £300 and you owe me £200 for my autograph.

I’m shocked at my generosity tbh!

Put some panniers on and sell it on cyclechat as a hybrid/commuter…… 🙄
