Lovely riding round here but you have to laugh sometimes. This afternoon I stopped on Epsom Downs to let 2 plump ladies on horses go by. One of the horses had a diamanté band across its forehead. It look beautiful as it sparkled in the afternoon sun. Earlier I chanced upon a chap reversing up a steep gully that narrowed to single track in a fully restored 1940s US army jeep. He was fully decked out in a period uniform too! 😯

Have you seen the lady who holds a tai chi class on epsom downs? Class on one side of the track and her on the other.
Hope she didn’t mind me riding through her class.

There was a tai chi class on the NWAlps beacon this morning, I did consider using them as a human slalom course after I worked out it wasn’t a rapture type event
