And I mean IN your tyre.

I’m pretty new to the tubeless thing but had been running Mud X’s happily for over a month. The rear tyre had a small hole when I first set it up but it sealed ok and I’ve had no problems since, until this weekend when doing a long overnighter in Wales. The hole reopened and despite much frantic spinning and pumping I couldn’t get the bugger to reseal.

When the patience of my friends gave in and I finally took the tyre off to install a tube, I found this little latex sculpture on the other side of the hole.

I can only imagine the latex plug has been shifting and resealing over a period of time to create a snowflake type effect.

    As you were…………….

If you get a blue and gold glittery one, then yes, you are special!

I swapped out my tubeless tyres yesterday, the front one had been on over a year, I was hoping for some Stans bogies but alas my search was fruitless!
