I’ve only just discovered this, so I’m extremely chuffed: Episode seven, end of scene two into scene three, me. And of course, the other guys in the band…

I Can’t Escape Myself

I did most of the series expecting brilliance, sadly it failed to keep me gripped.

Well done for your time involvement.

There was too much religion in it for me 🙂

We watched it, absolutely superb – Jude Law was excellent. Music is pretty cool as well, there is an official Playlist on Spotify.

I watched the whole series, and found it visually stunning. Sorrentino’s direction is in the best of the Italian cinematic tradition, and I am both amazed and delighted that HBO gave him the budget and a free hand to deliver this series.

If you haven’t seen ‘The Great Beauty’, you really must. In the meantime, keep enjoying The Young Pope.

So it cheered up a bit in the end then?
