Well they got snowmageddon wrong on a weekly basis so I wouldn’t worry too much.

The meeja never fail to get it wrong, mainly because they quote the Met Office, who have never knowingly made a long-distance forecast that was even close to reality.

The ‘meeja’ are idiots who don’t understand that a forecast of warmer than average temperatures does not automatically mean ‘worra scorcher!!!!’

Clever thing the Express have done there… people started to get wise to them running zany weather forecast stories as advertorial for Exacta, as when their stories turned out to be bullshit everyone blamed the Met Office, who never made the forecast.

What they do now is they top and tail a story with a general vague but sensible non committal quotes from the Met Office which makes no real claim or forecast….. then fill the middle with zany forecast advertorial from Exacta.

The only chance of Darwen topping 30 celcius in the next week is in my bearded Dragons Vivarium.

It’s been pretty sweet oop north for a while too – dust is becoming an issue. 🙂

BTW is bearded dragons’s vivarium a euphemism?
