seems to be that they sit in a gun cabinet for two years doing nothing, so you decide to sell them and spend the money on something to do with bikes, but it soon becomes apparent this is going to be difficult – banned off e-bay, auctions charge 20% + vat and the air gun site airgunBBS doesnt want to accept any new members…..any suggestions where I can post this to sell? (Its a Lincoln Jefferies (pre BSA) .177 rifle made in 1908)

best place is a specialist auction house. think bonhams do collectable airguns as do Holts.

Check out an airgun magazine – they allow free personal adverts.

try airgunbbs ,lots of gimps on the site but some can be very helpful.

just fill in the profile in full as you wont be able to post in the sales section.

if you need a hand let me know as ive been a member for over 7 years .

Hey Haddock, there’s also http://www.airgununiverse.co.uk – they have a for sale section too, it would seem.
I’ve not been on there in a while, but any time I’ve had a question someone has been kind enough to offer a response, much like the good folks on here.
    Hope you get a sale.
